Hamilton Lawn Cemetery Monumental Section Rules and Specifications

To maintain a uniform appearance in this section, the style, shape and size of the monument shall be approved by the Trust.

Allowable colours of the monument are black, emerald pearl, blue pearl and noble grey.

Lawn shall be re-established at the discretion of the Sexton.

The Trust will provide a temporary grave marker.

Nothing shall be placed on lawn areas.

Only flowers in holders attached to the monument are allowed.

No other, ceramic, glass, plastic or metal objects are allowed.

Trust employees have the right to remove non-approved objects.

Hamilton Lawn Cemetery Plaque Section Rules and Specifications

Plaques must be of a standard size of 380 x 215 mm.

Lawn shall be re-established at the discretion of the Sexton.

Nothing shall be placed on the lawn area or around the plaque.

Flowers are to be placed in the plastic containers provided in the hole on the top of the concrete base.

Flowers should be placed in the containers in such a way to reduce the possibility of being blown out by the wind or pulled out by birds.

Where the concrete base is a double base (a plaque each side) the hole on the right hand side shall be used.

No other, ceramic, glass, plastic or metal objects are allowed.

Trust employees have the right to remove non-approved objects.

Only brown coloured bronze plaques are allowed in this section.
